Moroccan Agency for tourism development-SMIT- is a public institution established in December 2007 with the aim of implementing the strategy for developing Morocco's tourism product. In an increasingly competitive international environment among tourist destinations, where differentiation is becoming more challenging, attractiveness has become a major development issue. SMIT places attractiveness at the heart of its concerns, with the ambition of making the most of the assets of each tourist territory to turn them into a true hub of competitiveness.
